The Importance of Hip Internal Rotation

Have you ever noticed you love to turn your feet out when walking/standing/squatting?

If you lack the mobility to rotate your hip, your body will explore and find alternate routes for you to make up that lost range, but at what detriment to the body? This question is examined further in our recent post The path of least resistance, which outlines the key concepts surrounding mobility vs. stability.

Internal rotation (IR) is an inward rotation of a limb or joint toward the midline or centre of the body.
